This building was designated as commercial and was originally intended for use as offices. The offices were surplus to requirement and so after seeking a change of use, we secured planning for 8 luxury apartments, made up of studio, I & 2 bedroom units, and 1 office suite covering 6,000 sq. ft. The quality of the building and the finish of each apartment made it a very attractive development which sold out within a very short time. The completed development was nominated by Premier Insurance for Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards 2012.
In changing the use to residential, Archway Apartments has further brought a new community of people together in South Harrow. With the development of 187 new flats on the former Biro House site, by Barratt North London, we have completed our aspiration for the area by sensitively refurbishing The Arches, and, creating new homes on a derelict site adjoining it. Stanley Road in South Harrow has enjoyed a new injection of businesses and homeowners, and, created a much richer, diverse community as a result.
