This 10 acre brownfield site of the former gasworks power station and heavy duty equipment garages will be transformed by the implementation of our planning permission. We have obtained Planning for 1014 residential units plus 120,000 sq ft retail space including space for a food store. 500 town centre car parking spaces will also be provided as part of the planning permission.
We applied for government CIF (community infrastructure funding) funding for a new Victoria Road which now runs through the site. The road was completed, adopted and is now fully utilised by the public.
An investment of £800,000 on a CHP plant for heating and hot water on this site now enables all surrounding residential areas around our site, covering 2,400 units, to connect to it.
