Packet Boat House Planning Permission granted

We are pleased to announce that we have recently been granted Planning Permission for our development currently known as Packet Boat House, Uxbridge, Middlesex.

Michael Shwartz Group previously had Planning Permission approved for 32 units plus 6,500 sq ft of D1 and B1 use which included an extra three storeys above the existing structure.

As the area has an oversupply of vacant office space, we decided to return to planning to change the use of the entire building to 41 residential units comprising a mix of studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

These apartments will be ideal for first-time buyers as well as those downsizing from houses to more manageable sized apartments. For professionals that are looking for a peaceful location to live away from their hectic working lives, there are excellent road connections from the development giving individual’s easy access by road and public transport to various destinations. Local supermarkets and The Chimes shopping centre in Uxbridge are within a short distance from this development. Uxbridge has a wealth of restaurants and cafes together with a vibrant nightlife that puts the town firmly on the map of desirable places to live.

Located off the main High Road in Cowley, the site is surrounded by beautiful greenery as well as many lakes and rivers including the River Colne and the nearby Packet Boat Marina.

The London Borough of Hillingdon boasts 800 acres of woodland, country parks, fields and farms, several rivers as well as the Grand Union Canal. Cowley Lock on the Grand Union Canal is a prime conversation area and home to several waterside pubs and restaurants.

Construction is due to commence late 2013
